• After NWH I’m very confused about how and where this movie will take place ?? MCU or Sony verse? Either way, I truly think this should take place in Andrew Garfield’s universe! He truly fits the theme and that’s coming from a Tobey fan. 
• I believe that the movie is set initially in the TASM universe, with the hints being the newspaper and the two cops discussing the events in San Francisco. Then during his incarceration, he is transported to the MCU due to Strange's spell, hence the reason he meets with Vulture. The only misleading hint is the picture of Tobey's Spiderman tagged with the word "murderer", which I believe is just a simple edit on the trailer as to not spoil it entirely that he may or may not travel to another universe.
• I think this should take place in Andrews's universe and I think the reason Spider-Man’s mural is vandalized with “murderer” is because of what Andrew said in no way home about him not pulling his punches.
